Some people have been asking me what the pronk means. To pronk means to jump straight up. Frequently seen as a means of escaping predators in the wild. It is a name frequently given to the behavior exhibited by alpacas just before nightfall, when they strut or "pronk" performing beautiful and acrobatic gaits and movements. A real delight to watch, we frequently see it on cooler evenings. Thus the name of our blog.
