This was the first year for NJAC, New Jersey Alpaca Classic and we really enjoyed the show. Very well organized. Especially liked the sod everywhere, not just in the stalls. Lighting was good. Only downfall was the always present A/C. The buildings are never cold and dry enough and it was fairly warm on Saturday. None the less, everyone was in the same boat, so to speak. We took seven and did well, with everyone placing. The highlights were a CHAMPIONSHIP in halter for Eros in the fawn and a RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP in halter for Shiah in the fawn. Both took their first as well and rounding out in first place were Vecurio (LF) and Agamemnon. Brecson took 2nd (MB), Lights took (3rd) and Celady took 5th (TB). All came home in good health and glad to be back in the fields.
